CHRISTINA HOWARD
"Polly" (guest star, ep. 3)
The actress at Will's
audition with wild physical warm-ups is "Polly" (guest star, ep.
3), played by Christina Howard. Christina was born in
Bethesda, Maryland and grew up in California and Hawaii. She came to
Los Angeles to train at the UCLA School of Theater. After graduating,
she began to work in theater, eventually becoming a company member at
the Knightsbridge Theater.
After a while at Knightsbridge, Christina realized that what she really
wanted to do was start her own theater company - so she did. Christina
is the artistic director of the LOFT Ensemble, the resident theater
company of the LA Fringe Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The LOFT just
had its first season, featuring the popular LOFT Ensemble Variety Hour featuring Naughty Nancy and Neil LaButte's The Shape of Things, both of which starred Christina.
Her credits include Trojan Women, Romeo & Juliet and The Why Factor, a theatrical showcase for female playwrights and performers, created by Christina herself.
